While in the Navy, he continued to instruct and compete in tennis tournaments on his off time.
Once honorably discharged, he moved to Atlanta, finishing his degree at Morehouse College, while becoming the Head Men's Tennis Coach. He has created and implemented successful instructional tennis programs for youth, adults and seniors over the last 35 years, some programs have been recognized by the United States Tennis Association.
Terry's passion to play the game of tennis is only surpassed by his passion to teach the game to his community. He has and continues to spread the game to thousands with free to affordable tennis instruction for all interested.
